There are three ways to buy and hold land in Indonesia for foreigners all of which we can help you with:
USING A LOCAL NOMINEE
If you have a trusted local partner you can complete the purchase of the land using them as the named owner. This method has been used at length by foreign investors into Bali but does require a trusted local partner.
USING A PT PMA COMPANY
This is the safest way to own property in Indonesia for a foreigner. We will assist as required the setting up of a PT PMA company and the Right To Build (Hak Guna Bangunan) certificates. Essentially this makes you the owner of the property with the ability to sell or divide. This process takes from 2-5 weeks.
80YR LEASEHOLD
One last option is to buy the property under our PMA company and lease it for 80 years. This is especially suited to people who want a fast sale or do not want to get too involved with the Indonesian legal system.
